MOM Masters Clinic April 9 – 13, 2012
Ties in with Mallorca Open Masters Swim Meet (14 and 15 April, 2012)
The Masters Clinics and swim clinics for Triathletes will be run by one or more of the coaches at the BEST Centre, Matthew, James, Pat and Cati, all former international swimmers.
The clinics are loaded with technique work and explanations and this clinic will also focus on starts and turns and race plans for Masters swimmers, as well as having great fun during and after the sessions.
Please note that spaces are limited on each of the clinics, but remember, if you have a group of Masters or Triathletes that want to come out and you would like us to do the coaching, just let us know the dates and we will put a clinic together for your group.
Programme
April 9th: Arrival day
April 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th: Clinic sessions
April 14th: Departure day (MOM meet in Palma is 14 and 15 April)The sessions will include:
- - Drills and technique work
- Training and race preparation
- Starts and turns for Masters, sighting and open water practice for Triathletes
- Mental preparation
- Plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful town of Colonia Sant Jordi

Price: Four-day stroke clinic (Five nights’ accommodation):
4 star Club Colonia Blau Hotel:
Twin room: 440 euros per person
Single room: 520 euros per person
- 4 star Hotel Cabo Blanco:
Twin room: 380 euros per person
Single room: 430 euros per person
Price includes: – 5 nights of half board accommodation in a 4 star hotel – 7 x 2 hour swim sessions – Dry land sessions – Talks on race preparation etc – Free use of BEST Centre gym – Permanent, on site, 24hr assistance

Important Information
Sessions: The swim sessions are specially designed for Masters swimmers or triathletes of any age or ability. The sessions will focus on stroke technique and there will also be dry land sessions and you have free access to the on-site gym. The number and duration of sessions is detailed on each clinic’s information.
Cost: The costs for the clinics are detailed on each clinic and include 5 nights of half-board accommodation at a 4 star hotel, coaching and pool fees, and everything else mentioned above. The costs are PER PERSON, sharing a twin room. SINGLE ROOMS will incur a supplement as detailed on each clinic. You are welcome to stay extra nights either side of the clinic and prices are detailed with the clinic information.
Booking: Please use the booking form or email us to confirm your place. Full payment must be received 6 weeks before the start date. Call or email us if you have any questions about the weeks or need any more information.
Cancellations: Any cancellations after payment has been received until the start date of the Masters clinics will incur a cancellation fee that rises as the start date approaches. Full details on request.
Transfers: Transfers from the airport to the hotel are not included in the price. To make your way to Colonia Sant Jordi, we recommend a taxi at the airport or hiring a car. A taxi to the Hotel Club Colonia Sant Jordi, will cost around 55 – 60 euros and taxis are available as you exit the main airport building on arrival. Car hire can be pre-booked and collected on arrival at the airport. If you hire a car, we have driving directions here.
Insurance: All participants will need to book their own insurance and show proof of insurance prior to the holiday start date. The BEST Centre reserves the right to change the hotel and swimming pool in case of unforeseen circumstances.
